Can I use craft store paper specified for use as transfer paper to print an image and transfer onto a substrate?

Yes, but not for the best results. Craft store paper will generally offer a heavier feel, and the color output may not be as vibrant. Fading, cracking, and/or peeling of a design immediately after transferring and washing can be frequent.

For best results, use a commercially recommended brand of paper tested and proven for use in our industry. For example, these will offer durability, the ability to transfer to different types of fabrics, and have excellent wash characteristics.
