Are there additional tools an awards shop needs to sublimate hard substrates versus soft?

If an awards shop is set up for sublimating soft substrates, they may need to add equipment specialized for hard surfaces.

Here’s our lineup of equipment for hard surface sublimation: sublimation printer (with RIP printing software), a heat press specific to hard surface sublimation (including heat gloves, heat tape, and tape dispenser), poly fabric (to help wick away moisture), blowout paper, a Nomex pad, cloth for cleaning the surface, and all-purpose cleaner.

If an awards shop sublimates soft surfaces, they may want to do a little research to find out exactly what equipment they already have that would work for sublimating hard surfaces and what they will need to add.
