MIAMI-Embroidery machine manufacturer Ricoma International Corp. names Henry Ma as its new CEO after former CEO Frank Ma announced his resignation. Founder of Ricoma, Frank Ma remains president of the company and shifts his focus to research and development, the creation of new products, and global operations.
Previously serving as Ricoma’s COO, Henry Ma joined the company in March of 2015 and has since worked to improve each aspect of the embroidery machine manufacturing company, including marketing, sales, service, accounting, R&D, and human resources.
“Henry has brought the company to a whole new level through his vision, innovation, and relentless efforts,” says Frank Ma. “I believe that he, together with all of our talented employees, will take Ricoma to new heights.”
Henry’s promotion follows the recent launch of the company’s first custom apparel conference, DecoSummit, hosted by Ricoma under his leadership. Ma also hosts the Apparel Academy series on Ricoma’s YouTube channel where he offers business advice and is the founder of Garmeo, an order fulfillment platform for decorated apparel businesses, created in association with Ricoma.
“I am very honored and excited to take on this new role,” says Ma. “We have experienced tremendous growth in the last several years, but with the exciting developments we have in the pipeline and new initiatives on the horizon, we have only begun to scratch the surface. I look forward to working even more closely with our team and continue providing great products and excellent service to our customers worldwide.”
