BENTONVILLE, Ark.-Outdoor Cap announces it has received two PPAI Gold Pyramid Awards. Hatswork won in the technology category for blogs, podcasts, and digital news, while Outdoor Cap’s Business Development Kits (BDKs) won the Supplier Sales Support Materials award within the marketing program classification.

Hatswork is an unbranded blog by Outdoor Cap that shares headwear trends, industry news, buying practices, and decorations tips. It aims to “create demand for caps in the $23.3 billion promotional product(s) industry,” as well as educate the industry, according to a release on the news.

In addition to its blog, Outdoor Cap says it developed BDKs to help distributors sell headwear.

“Headwear has gone through a renaissance in recent years because people find more value in higher quality, higher brand value items,” says Ben Roberts, senior VP of marketing at Outdoor Cap. “With headwear being one of the most visible ways to represent a brand, more distributors should get versed in headwear, lean on a great supplier to help them through the details, and help consumers understand the value of headwear is extremely high.”
