Hanes Collaborates with CMA Festival
Hanes designs a special T-shirt for the CMA Foundation for music education.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-Hanes collaborates with the Country Music Association (CMA) at the annual CMA Festival in Nashville. The company says it is offering an exclusive T-shirt for the CMA Foundation for music education.
The annual music festival takes place in downtown Nashville, and part of the association’s branches includes the CMA Foundation, a foundation that focuses on “improving and sustaining music education programs everywhere while supporting worthwhile causes important to the Country Music Association.” Since its initial phases in the early 2000s, the program has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for music education.
As part of the collaborative effort, Hanes offers festival goers a custom-designed T-shirt entitled the Music is Life shirt.
“We want to help music educators receive the support and resources they need to create sustainable programs,” says Rachel Newman, general manager and vice president of Hanes Activewear. “Our Hanes4Education program provides a way for music supporters to generate a cash rebate to bene?t music education.”
The festival runs through Sunday, June 9.
