Penn Emblem Company announces the promotion of Valerie Kiesling to director of supply chain and procurement. Kiesling has served as the corporate supply chain manager since joining the company in 2007.
Kiesling’s background includes experience with textile manufacturing and various roles in Fortune 500 companies. The company says Kiesling has a “keen understanding of the importance of the overall supply chain serving the internal and external customer” and “excels in reducing costs and bringing speed to market in sourcing products.”
Penn Emblem president Randi Blumenthal says Kiesling’s skill set “has enhanced our vendor relationships and given Penn Emblem new ways to negotiate with vendors, consignment and rebates; she has brought accountability and benchmarking to our company.”
In her new role, Kiesling focuses on elevating Penn Emblem’s sourcing direction by continuously growing product development and streamlining the decoration department and its work with vendors.
