Visions/Awardcraft announces that is has launched AwardLab, a new service that allows for distributors to design their own awards online and see them come to life on the screen right in front of them. As of February 4, AwardLab is up and running.

Typically, a custom award project can take anywhere from three to 18 months, according to Visions/AwardCraft. With AwardLab, customers can develop a design in minutes using AwardLab 3D Studio, which users can interface with directly on their web browser or mobile device. Visions/Awardcraft can then produce and ship the awards in as little as two weeks after receiving the customer’s art approval confirmation.

The idea for AwardLab came after an “increasing number of requests from promotional products distributors for custom awards that can be catered to clients with a quick turnaround at a price point that still allowed for rewarding profit margins,” according to Robbie Reynolds, the director of digital marketing at Visions/AwardCraft. The process to get AwardLab up and running took about 10 months.

AwardLab provides awards for customers or events with less time involvement, fewer fabrication considerations, and the opportunity to avoid manufacturing complexities normally associated with producing custom awards. “AwardLab offers a fast and simple solution to customized awards with quick turnarounds, truly distinctive designs – and made in the USA. You can select from a wide variety of readily available materials, in various shapes and sizes,” Reynolds explains.

Elements to choose from consist of square and rectangle columns made from either bamboo, American walnut, ebony, or aluminum. Accents and graphics can also be added to the design.

“The number of styles is virtually limitless with a growing library of versatile graphics and accents, or (users can) tap into the creative genius of our in-house design team,” states Reynolds.

Over time, Visions/AwardCraft will launch new features based on company feedback.
