What should I always do before starting a UV-LED print job?

One of the most important preliminary steps is to ensure that your printer has been properly maintained for successful daily startup. This includes printing a nozzle check pattern to determine that all inks are flowing properly. The next step is to review the details of the project and confirm that all graphic files are print-ready. Based on the substrate being used and your desired results, predetermine a course of action for a smooth and repeatable process. For example, after evaluating your substrate, determine what kind of ink formulation will work best for the project (rigid or flexible). Is the surface shiny, matte, porous, or uneven? This will affect the print settings required, and whether or not any pretreatment is necessary.
