With the latest generation of laser, inkjet, and sublimation/ink printing systems, the ability to print on a variety of hard surfaces has inordinately expanded. The papers are easy to work with and, generally, are simple one- or two-step processes; laser and sublimation papers are no-weed. Inkjet papers require weeding, although high-quality papers leave virtually no window after heat transfer application on hard substrates.
When using inkjet or laser heat transfer papers, no pre-treatment is required. This opens up a vast range of products that are ideal for printing and include light-color ceramic, glass, wood, leather, puzzle blanks, some card stock, mouse pads, and metal.
For sublimation printing where 100% polyester-coated products are required, use a range of white products for overall brilliant color, such as mugs, cell phone cases, glass items, tiles, magnets, fishing lures, mouse pads, coasters, and more.
