Using the proper tool for the type of engraving you are doing is essential. When engraving plastic sheet used in the recognition and signage industries, carbide tipped, FLX (flexible) type bits are most commonly recommended. Bit sizes ranging from 0.005″ up to 0.125″ offer excellent results on certain sheets.
