- Consider buying a small convection oven for sublimating to large steins, pet bowls, and other products that cannot be done with a flat or mug press. We recommend the Wolfgang Puck pressure oven.
- If you need to produce large quantities of mugs, consider buying a mug oven or conveyor oven. We recommend Hix ovens.
- Upgrade your CorelDRAW to a more current version. The cost is low and installing a newer version won’t affect your old version. This is really necessary if your clients send you PDF artwork.
- Unbranded resources are an easy way to save time and money.
- Seek out USA-made and USA-coated substrates. Unisub/ChromaLuxe makes all their substrates in Louisville, Kentucky in what is likely the world’s largest sublimation coating facility. At Condé, we coat our own glass, acrylic, sandstone, DyeFlex plastic, and IronClad ceramic tiles.
