Should I use a .jpg file format for sublimation printing?

A .jpg file is a “loss” compression format, meaning that when you save a .jpg, it throws away data every time you close it. Each time it throws data away, it degrades the image quality, and before long, you will have a .jpg file with corruption, small squares in the image, and color pixel halos around things. While .jpg is the most popular digital format in the world, it’s the worst one sublimators could possibly use.
