Increase Productivity with a Fiber Laser

Fiber lasers increase productivity for many existing jobs, and that can create new things to consider. For instance, when moving from a CO2 flatbed to a galvo-based fiber laser, marking times are much faster to mark coated drinkware. Typical marking times will be four to five times faster, thus requiring the operator to reload the machine more often. This provides an opportunity to add some lite automation, such as rotary disks or shuttle tables, in order to take full advantage of the fiber laser speed.
