Consider making a “wall of shame” in your workshop area full of product mistakes from the past. When you make a mistake, all of us tend to want to put it away or hide it instead of reminding ourselves what went wrong. With sublimation, mistakes can be a great resource to prevent you from making them again and again.
One of the mistakes that I kept making in my early years in the industry was not looking at the back of a plaque to find the keyhole for hanging it. I would be so anxious to do the transfer that I would forget to look at the back to find out if the orientation would be correct.
After doing this so many times, I decided that the best solution would be to hang one near my heat press to help me remember to look at the back of the plaque first.
