Understand what it is you want to achieve before you decide which laser is right for you, and then choose the right tool for the job. Ask yourself what types of materials you’re going to be marking, the types of marks you want to create, and the shape of the parts you will mark.
Today’s systems are very capable and have a lot of features that weren’t available in the past. This creates a challenge for the users to stay educated in what’s best for them and take full advantage of the system’s capabilities. This can be overcome through training and practice.
