Featured Project: First Time Riding the Rails
Ryan Sellers is the sole owner/operator of Sellers Sign & Design in Harrisburg, North Carolina.
Based in Harrisburg, North Carolina, Sellers Sign & Design is a one-person shop. The sole proprietor is Ryan Sellers, who started as a small sign company in 2010 with just a single cutter. Today, he runs both an HP Latex 310 and a Gerber Edge printer, and has carved out a niche in his region of doing a lot of signage and graphics for emergency vehicles, especially fire trucks.
This project was something different altogether, as he was contacted by a company that sells small working trains used in places such as amusement parks and zoos. Sellers says he used 3M Controltac 180 film in metallic finish for this job, and he did the gold leaf lettering, striping and scrollwork himself.
“Many hours went into the design, production and installation of these graphics,” Sellers writes on his Facebook page, and we have no trouble believing that.
