Planar Adds Lainie Mataras to U.S. Sales Team
Lainie Mataras is a seasoned veteran of the commercial audio/visual and digital signage industries.
Portland, Oregon-based digital display manufacturer Planar, a company under the umbrella of Chinese electronics manufacturer Leyard, announces the expansion of its U.S. sales force with the addition of Lainie Mataras. Mataras joins the company’s Northeast team as a business development manager.
Mataras brings more than 25 years experience in the commercial audio/visual and digital signage industry. Most recently, Mataras worked as a regional sales manager for the consultant industry at Sapphire Marketing, where she worked for 14 years. Prior to that, she held a technical sales role at Crestron, where she worked for a decade.
In her new role she’ll be leveraging her extensive professional network to foster relationships with consultant partners and further develop the company’s consultant program.
