Giving Back: Midwest Sign Steps Up for Breast Cancer Patients
The company raised $10,000 during October by donating a portion of money raised through the sale of its Horizon adhesive product lines.
Denver-based Midwest Sign & Screen Supply Co., a full-service sign and graphics shop and a member of the Colorado Sign Association, recently raised $10,000 for Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based based The Pink Fund, which provides non-medical cost of living expenses to breast cancer patients who are going through active treatment.
The funding is meant to help relieve patients of their financial burden during a time of duress and allow them to focus on healing, taking care of their families and returning to the work place.
Midwest raised the money by donating a portion of the sales of its Horizon-brand adhesive products.
October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
