Trotec to Open Regional Service and Support Center in Miami
Because of growth the company has doubled the number of sales and support centers such as this one in the past 10 years.
Plymouth, Michigan-based laser maker Trotec Laser announces the opening of its new regional service and support center in Miami. According to the company, the new facility will be equipped with lasers, materials, and accessories to be used for individual laser demonstrations, educational workshops, and materials testing.
The grand opening will be held concurrently with Trotec’s Nov. Third Thursday education workshop on Thursday, Nov. 21., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held at various Trotec locations on the third Thursday of every month, the workshop series was designed to provide training on laser technology and to promote an understanding of how lasers can add value to a business. Workshop agenda items cover a range of laser skills from beginner to intermediate-such as how to use a rotary attachment, how to use JobControl Vision, and expert advice on how businesses can maximize the return on a laser investment.
The new service and support center in Miami will house high-speed, CO2 flatbed laser cutting and engraving systems, fiber laser marking systems, and systems featuring flexx laser technology, which combines a CO2 laser for cutting and engraving a variety of materials with a fiber laser for marking plastics and metals. Laser systems will be outfitted with a variety of options and accessories, such as a rotary attachment, and vision registration software.
Trotec Laser president Warren Knipple says the new service and support center plays an important part in broadening the resources, information, and support that the company offers customers before, during, and after a laser purchase, and makes those resources more accessible to its customer base.
“Our incredible growth rate over the past decade has moved us to double our number of service and support centers,” says Knipple. “We want to make sure we are providing the best access possible to the training and support that businesses need to make the most of a laser investment-not just for our community of laser users, but for all those who are using or considering using a laser for their business.”
