Idealliance Certifies 23 G7 Experts at Recent California Workshop

The Alexandria, Virginia-based International Digital Enterprise Alliance, better known as Idealliance, announces that Konica Minolta recently hosted G7 training at its facility in Anaheim, California, and 23 G7 Experts were certified.

The company says these G7 Experts traveled from around the world, including South Asia and Latin America, to attend the training and certification program.

“Idealliance thanks Konica Minolta for hosting the event and we congratulate these 23 new G7 Experts from throughout the global G7 printing & packaging industry,” says Jordan Gorski, vice president of global certification programs for Idealliance. “Konica Minolta is a leader for the digital print supply chain with G7 Experts on staff to help their users develop and maintain process control-centric workflows utilizing Konica Minolta technology and G7 for efficiency, quality, and to meet the demands of the supply chain regardless of print technology.”

G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving gray balance and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. The G7 methodology is designed to align all print technologies for visual consistency, process and quality control, and color workflow management. G7 specs are the same on any machine, using any print technology, anywhere in the world, according to the nonprofit.
