Idealliance Brings G7 Training to Colorado in November
Attendees can ultimately earn certification as a G7 Expert or a G7 Professional.
The Alexandria, Virginia-based International Digital Enterprise Alliance, better known as Idealliance, announces an upcoming G7 training session on Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 5-7, at the Ricoh Customer Experience Center in Boulder, Colorado.
Designed for content and media creators, press operators and pressroom supervisors, and quality assurance managers, among others, this three-day training event will feature in-depth, hands-on demonstrations, live G7 press and proof implementation, an introduction to global print standards, and more, all on the latest digital print technology, engines, front ends, and systems that Ricoh has in its facility.
G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving visual similarity across all print processes, currently being revised into ISO 12647-2.
G7 Expert Trainer Don Hutcheson will lead instruction and demonstration covering G7 methodology, implementation, and strategies developed to maintain the highest possible process control and color management consistency and fidelity for alignment across any print technology. Attendees can ultimately gain certification as G7 Experts or G7 Professionals. Registration in advance is required.
