Sustainable Green Printing to Partner on Sports and Sustainability Summit
The summit will look at the issues of venues, food, waste and energy and how more sustainable practices might be introduced into the sports world.
The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces its community partnership with Green Sports Alliance‘s upcoming event in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Sports & Sustainability Symposium will be held at Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals baseball team, on Aug. 21. It will convene regional professional and collegiate sports teams and venues, concessionaires, business and public leaders, and athletes to explore how the sports industry can help advance healthier, more sustainable communities.
According to the SGP, programming at the event focuses on venues, food, waste and energy. The day, a combination of keynote speakers and panel discussions, also provides ample time for networking.
“We are pleased to continue our relationship with the Green Sports Alliance by once again partnering at the St. Louis event,” says John Heaney, vice president of The Advertisers Printing Co. in St. Louis. His company is a certified SGP printer and Heaney is an SGP board member.
As a community sponsor of the event, SGP will offer a discounted registration rate to those interested in attending. If interested click here.
