Featured Project: Extraordinary Dogs Require Extraordinary Signage

This large-scale project involved design as well as fabrication and installation of interior and exterior signage and vehicle graphics.

Tewksbury, Massachusetts-based Metro Sign & Awning, a full-service sign and graphic design company, announces a recent project in which it assisted a local nonprofit with its rebranding.

According to a Facebook post from Metro Sign, it was approached by the nonprofit National Education for Assistance Dog Services (NEADS) and asked to help it update its branding in time for the grand opening of its new facility. Located in Princeton, Massachusetts, about 45 miles from Metro Signs’ headquarters, NEADS is a canine center that provides specially-trained dogs for the deaf, disabled, veterans, children with autism, classrooms, hospitals, courthouses, mental health practices, ministries and prisons. Their puppies are provided by breeders and animal shelter rescues around the country.

According to Metro Sign, the NEADS managers had an idea of the types of signs they wanted and where they should go, but they were open to assistance from the experts. Metro Sign worked with NEADS on the design of the signs and everything was fabricated by the Metro Sign team. Although the time frame was short, everything-including the vehicle graphics-was done in time for the nonprofit’s grand opening.
