Featured Project: Construction Signage Matters
Quality signage sends a positive message when it comes to construction zone signage.
This featured project is a good example of why quality “Under Construction” or “Pardon Our Dust” signs are important. Well-made signs convey a message of, “This is a quality redevelopment that’s going on here.” Shoddy signage, on the other hand, conveys the opposite.
These signs are from downtown San Francisco and were made by Martin Sign Co., which is headquartered there. The company’s website says it was founded in 2012 by Martin Wall, “a sign maker since his teenage years in Ames, Iowa.”
The site also notes that the shop’s 10 employees bring more than a half-century’s experience to their jobs, and there is virtually no type of sign that they won’t make. Throw in the wall and window graphics that the company does and it’s virtually a one-stop shop.
