DuPont Names New Distributor for its Artistri Inks in the UK
Quality Print Services has been providing inks, printers and more to the UK's wide-format community for more than a decade.
Wilmington, Delaware-based global chemical giant DuPont announces that the UK’s Quality Print Services (QPS), a wide-format specialist, will be adding the full range of DuPont Artistri digital inks for textiles to its product portfolio. According to DuPont, these textile inks are available in both pigment and dye-based formulations and are designed to deliver brilliant colors, excellent fastness properties and robust print reliability.
DuPont says its Artistri inks are compatible with a wide variety of textile printing platforms including MS and Reggiani and are approved and certified for a wide range of print heads typically used for digital textile printing, including Kyocera, Ricoh Gen4 & 5, Seiko and Epson.
The inks are available in a variety of viscosity bands and have been developed for printing applications including apparel, accessories, indoor and outdoor soft signage, home décor, active wear, T-shirts and more, the company says.
“We were approached directly by DuPont and it seemed like a perfect opportunity to expand our product offerings,” says Chris Bailey, managing director of QPS. “We always respond to market demand and, as we are increasingly receiving requests for textile inks other than dye sublimation for more specific applications, we know these additions will really benefit our customers.”
