Featured Project: Signage to Make the Artist Himself Proud
Creation of this sign combined traditional methods with modern methods such as CNC routing.
Omega Signs Ltd., a UK-based signage firm launched in 1992, highlights a recent project it completed for a London “gastro-pub” that recently underwent a remodel.
The pub is called Fullers at The Hogarth, and it’s named after the 17th century painter, William Hogarth. To honor its namesake, the Omega team hand-drew a portrait of the artist and used that for the basis of the sign, which also employed traditional signage gilding techniques along with modern methods such as CNC routing.
