JDS Expands its Marketing Department
No rest over the holidays for JDS Industries-they were busy hiring.
Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based JDS Industries, a supplier of components to the sublimation, awards, and gifts and promotion markets, announces new additions to its marketing department: two new marketing sublimation specialists and two new supervisor positions.
Due to growth and change within the company, JDS announces the addition of Stacy Benning and Jared Truman to its marketing sublimation specialists team. Truman graduated from Dakota State University with a degree in computer graphics and brings more than a year of experience with sublimation. Benning has more than 15 years of experience as a graphic designer along with years of customer service experience.
Along with their other team members, Truman and Benning will be responsible for offering free graphic design technical assistance and advice on products, equipment, software, and other customer support that JDS offers.
JDS also adds two new supervisor positions: sublimation supervisor and graphic design supervisor.
Lisa Ellston is the new sublimation supervisor. Ellston has been with JDS for more than seven years as a sublimation specialist. She has played an integral role in the success of the sublimation department and brings education and experience to the position, says the company. Ellston will be responsible for the members of her team as well as coordinating, directing, and motivating them to ensure goals are achieved. She is also responsible for offering graphic design technical support and advice on products, equipment, software, and other company and customer needs. Ellston will continue to attend trade shows and provide classes and seminars in sublimation.
Jericha Phelps is the new graphic design supervisor. Phelps started as a sublimation specialist with JDS in 2012. After five years in her position, she moved into a senior graphic designer role where she was promoted to graphic design supervisor in October 2018. She will continue with her graphic design work and will oversee and lead the graphic design team, along with organizing brochures, newsletters, flyers, catalogs, images, advertising, and more. She will coordinate with Ellston, along with the trade show manager, to ensure all projects are in sync and will help with any other opportunity that arises in the marketing department.
