Stratacache Announces Acquisition of Digital Signage Integration Company Sys-Teams
Stratacache created an entire division within the company just to seek out deals like this one that it believes will help grow its business.
Dayton, Ohio-based Stratacache, a digital signage and content distribution solutions provider, announces its acquisition of Sys-Teams, a UK-based company specializing in delivering comprehensive installation, integration and field service solutions for digital signage and digital retail experiences.
With the acquisition, led by Stratacache capital managing partner Dirk Huelsermann, Stratacache says it further enhances its global solution and service delivery footprint, adding the 35-person Sys-Team staff of technicians, engineers and installers to the current 750 employees working for Stratacache.
The company says Sys-Teams’ focus has been in the UK and the European Union and, under new ownership, it will expand its reach across Europe, the Middle East and Africa-starting with Germany and the Benelux region, which is comprised of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Stratacache says it believes those areas have significant potential for short term growth in smart digital signage projects.
Of Stratacache’s 18 acquisitions in the past 15 years, this is the second led by Stratacache Capital-a division created in November 2017. Its goal is to lead strategic deal discovery and acquisition globally and to that end Huelsermann’s team actively reviews more than potential 400 deals per year, looking for ones that expand or complement what Stratacache is already doing.
