Featured Projects: These Wraps are ALIVE!
Although it started out primarily as a small publisher and wholesale printing company, Kranken Signs today gets most of its revenue from vehicle wraps, which they've been doing for well over a decade.
This week’s featured project highlights work done by Charlotte, North Carolina’s Kranken Signs, which also has a second location in nearby Pineville. The company was founded in the 1990s as Advanced Graphics, a desktop publishing and wholesale printing company. But by 2004 the company had turned its focus outward and began selling direct to the custom. The following year it started doing vehicle wraps, and signs and banners followed soon after. The wraps end of the business continued to grow, according to Bob Strauss, who handles the company’s marketing. In 2013, the company became Kranken Signs and today, while it still produces signage graphics of all types, more than three-quarters of its revenue come from vehicle wraps.
