Canon to Host G7 Certification Training at its Chicago Facility in December

This three-day event Dec. 11-13 is a great opportunity for Canon's midwest customers to get G7 certified.

canonsolutionsamerica_275x275Melville, New York-based Canon Solutions America, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the sales arm of Tokyo-based Canon, announces that it is partnering with Alexandria, Virginia-based International Digital Enterprise Alliance, better known as Idealliance, to offer G7 training and certification classes in December at its Itasca, Illinois, facility, just outside of Chicago.

Led by David Hunter, G7 Expert Trainer, this three-day training event will cover a multitude of print applications, including digital print, color management, process control, implementation and optimization. It will feature live demonstrations of applying the G7 methodology in print production workflows and technology.

G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving gray balance and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes, the company says. The G7 methodology is designed to align all print technologies for visual consistency, process and quality control, and color workflow management.

The training event will take place Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 11-13 in Itasca, which is near O’Hare International Airport. For more information or to register click here or contact Jordan Gorski at (703) 837-1096 or at jgorski@idealliance.org.
