The G7 Master Qualification is a global standardized methodology for color matching and print quality consistency on various media.
Mount Pleasant, South Carolina-based Sawgrass Technologies, developers of sublimation inks and color management software, announces that it has earned the G7 Master Qualification for the third consecutive year from Idealliance, a not-for-profit group focused on print production best practices, specifications, and standards worldwide. The G7 Master Qualification is a global standardized methodology for color matching and print quality consistency on various media. G7 standards are currently applied through Sawgrass’s Virtuoso 25-inch HD Product Decorating System, featuring the VJ 628 printer and family of SubliJet-HD ink sets.
“Few manufacturers of sublimation ink have earned G7’s Master Qualification,” says Darcy Mauro, president of Sawgrass. “(It) is a real testament to the quality and consistency of our products.”
According to Robin Kavanagh, public relations manager, “At a time when customer expectations for print and color quality have never been higher, Sawgrass’ G7 Master Qualification gives customers a new level of assurance and predictability for colors and image quality.”
