The Final Stop for THE NBM SHOW 2018 is the Tar Heel State

Charlotte, North Carolina is the final stop for THE NBM SHOW's 2018 tour.

Charlotte, North Carolina is the next and final stop of the year for THE NBM SHOW, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3.

“Our first visit to Charlotte with an NBM event was in the Spring of 1991,” says Sue Hueg, vice president of NBM Events, which puts on THE NBM SHOW for Broomfield, Colorado’s National Business Media. “We were at the old convention center then, which is now the site of the EPICENTRE, a multi-level entertainment area full of restaurants, nightlife, shopping and more. The folks in Charlotte are just as warm and friendly now as they were then, and this vibrant city abounds with things to do and see. We always look forward to returning to the Queen City.”

The Charlotte Convention Center is the site of THE NBM SHOW, which is geared toward the markets served by the three graphics-oriented magazines put out by NBM: Sign & Digital Graphics, Printwear and Awards & Engraving.

The cross-market dynamic is a big part of THE NBM SHOW‘s mission. Having all three publications represented means it’s a great opportunity for you to not only learn about the latest trends and equipment in the market you serve, but also to explore new products and services you could offer that could boost your bottom line.

“NBM Charlotte, here we come!” says Damon Cincotta, national trade show manager for NBM. “What better way and city to end another successful NBM SHOW season than beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina. THE NBM SHOW in Charlotte has a great lineup of manufacturers and distributors for attendees to see. If you’re an attendee looking to take education classes, looking for new products, or even looking to expand your business with crossover opportunities, this is the show to be at. We look forward to seeing you in Charlotte.”

Education is always a key component of THE NBM SHOW, and Charlotte offers plenty of classroom opportunities to learn. The classroom training actually kicks off on Thursday, Nov. 1, with two all-day presentations: “Direct-to-Garment Printing Using the Epson F2100 and F2000 Printer,” sponsored by Equipment Zone; and “Mastering Multi-Decoration with a Vinyl Cutter,” sponsored by Digital Art Solutions. Both will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and, like all the other classroom and in-the-hall training, are offered at no charge to attendees.

Highlights of some of the other classroom training include:

Friday, November 2:

“New Laser Tips & Tricks: Laser System Techniques to Save Time and Increase Your Profits,” sponsored by Epilog Laser; “Grow Your Business Using Rhinestones, Heat Transfer Vinyl and Sign Vinyl,” sponsored by TRW; “The Gold Mine of UV Printing,” sponsored by PDS Equipment; “Are You Ready for Real Growth? What Dye Sublimation Can Do for Your Business,” sponsored by Epson America; and “CorelDRAW for Beginners and Intermediate,” sponsored by Action Illustrated.

Saturday, Nov. 3:

“What Do I Need to Start Doing Sublimation?,” sponsored by JDS Industries; “Will Digital Transfer Systems Make DTG Obsolete?,” sponsored by Condé Systems; “Lasers, Learn, Leverage, Lead,” sponsored by Trotec Laser; “What’s the Right Choice for Me? A Discussion on Epson’s Direct-to-Garment Technology,” sponsored by IT Supplies; and “How to Increase Your Revenue by Selling Promotional Products,” sponsored by SAGE.

All attendees are invited to attend NBM‘s After Hours Networking Reception from 5-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Westin Charlotte, host hotel for the show. Sponsored by Next Level Apparel; CIT Direct Capital; PDS Equipment; and F&M Expressions, the event is your chance to enjoy some light refreshments and converse with NBM representatives and your fellow show attendees.

As with all THE NBM SHOWs, every attendee has a shot at winning $500 in Buyer Bucks that are given away each day of the show. Buyer Bucks are redeemable at any participating exhibitor during the show and for 30 days after the show’s close.

Registration for THE NBM SHOW is free until Nov. 1, after which it costs $25 per person.

“With our Charlotte event, we close out the 2018 event year; the last stop on our coast-to-coast journey,” says Hueg. “On behalf of all of us at THE NBM SHOW and our media sponsors-Sign & Digital Graphics, A&E and Printwear magazines-we warmly welcome both old and new friends to Charlotte. See you there!”
