Featured Projects: Daktronics Gives Miami Football Fans Something to Cheer About
Sports venues are one of the most popular places for Daktronics' LED displays.
Brookings, South Dakota-based LED display manufacturer Daktronics was a part of a larger stadium renovation conducted in the off-season by Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes college football team.
One of the LED screens the company installed outside the stadium is a 40′ x 90′ high-definition screen, with 13mm pixel pitch, that greets fans above the main entrance.
Inside, four main video displays were deployed in each corner of the stadium. Each display features a 15mm HD pixel layout and measures 49′ x 112′. Ribbon displays, with 23mm pixel pitch and measuring 3 ½’ x 2,104′ around, were added to the seating fascia to bring additional stats and information to football fans. ?
