Zund America appoints managing director

Julian Bösch will guide the organization through its next phase of growth.

Zund America announced the appointment of Julian Bösch as the new managing director at Zünd’s Milwaukee-based North American headquarters. With a strong, international background in finance, operations, and strategic leadership, he is said to bring varied and valuable experience to his new role at Zund America.

Bösch’s career began at Ernst & Young AG as an audit assistant before he took on the role of chief operating officer at a small IT firm, where he led a team of 12 and managed finances, IT projects, and stakeholder relations. In 2017, he joined DOVISTA Windows AG, a multinational manufacturer of windows and doors, where he served as Head of Finance & Controlling.

As part of his divisional management responsibilities, he led international teams across Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, and Poland, overseeing financial planning, cost control, reporting, and digital transformation efforts. After a major acquisition in 2022, he stepped into a new role supporting executive decision-making and helping to align the group’s commercial and financial strategies across nine European markets.

Now at Zünd America, he brings cross-cultural expertise and leadership experience to guide the organization through its next phase of growth. His focus will be on strengthening Zünd’s market position in multiple industries, supporting customers across North America, and building on the company’s reputation for exceptional quality, innovation, and unwavering focus on customer needs in all aspects of digital-cutting automation.

A native of Switzerland, Bösch holds a BS in business administration from FHS St. Gallen, an MS in entrepreneurship from the University of Liechtenstein, and has successfully completed business leadership training at IMD Lausanne.
