GRAPHICS PRO EXPO Hires Senior Account Executive
Leigh Ann Messer will facilitate exhibitor sales for the East Coast.
GRAPHICS PRO EXPO (GPX) welcomes Leigh Ann Messer to the sales staff. She joins the team as senior account executive.
In the role, Messer’s responsibilities will cover exhibitor sales for the East Coast.
“We are excited that Leigh Ann has joined the GPX team. We have another great lineup of shows for 2024 and we know our exhibitors are in good hands with her on board,” remarks Matthew Conroy, president & CEO of Cahaba Media Group and interim director of events for GPX.
Messer previously worked in the food and beverage industry for most of her career, first in marketing and design, and most recently in sales. Her first four years out of college were spent at Imperial Beverage, a beer and wine distributor in the state of Michigan. She worked in the marketing department, mostly designing point-of-sale material for suppliers, but also putting together company events, meetings, and annual trade shows. Soon after that, she sold beer for Founders Brewing Company for four years, and then liquor for Sazerac Company around southwest Michigan for three years.
“Coincidentally enough one of my very first jobs while in college was at a print shop specializing in screen printing, embroidery, and vinyl and I absolutely loved it! I designed many of the pieces in the shop but also had some hands-on work in the production side of things,” says Messer. “Screen printing was by far my favorite. I fell in love with printing and advertising in a course I took in high school and just knew deep down it was something I wanted to do and/or be around in my career.”
She continues, “So really this position has me coming full circle with something I have wholeheartedly had an interest in for years. I am very excited to dive into this industry and help all of our customers grow their businesses. From large to small companies – it’s so rewarding to get to know them, see their vision, help them grow, and watch them succeed!”
