Graphtec, a cutting and measuring solutions provider, announces its new partnership with software supplier PrintFactory.

The collaboration aims to deliver a tailored integration solution specifically designed for Graphtec cutting tables, improving customers’ print and cut workflow.

“This partnership marks an exciting milestone for us,” says Simon Posseth, general manager of Graphtec. “The integration of PrintFactory with our machines enables customers to streamline their workflow by directly outputting from the PrintFactory application to a Graphtec cutter, ensuring a seamless Print & Cut process.”

Posseth continues, “By combining editor, layout, printstation, workflow, and just-in-time cloud automation components, this integrated software, in collaboration with Graphtec cutting plotters, enables pre-press corrections to original files in almost any format. This is just the first step in our integration journey, as we have exciting plans to collaborate with PrintFactory on additional features to further elevate the production quality customers can achieve with Graphtec cutting tables and tools.”

The new integrated software offers several features specifically tailored to Graphtec users, including:

  1. Rear and front barcodes for continuous operation
  2. XY intermediate registration marks to ensure the most accurate cutting
  3. Masked registration marks for high-reflective/colored/special media
  4. Automatic crop mark generation from within PrintFactory

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Graphtec to ensure seamless integration of our software ecosystem with their cutting solutions,” remarks Erik Strik, CEO of PrintFactory. “Our goal is to make PrintFactory workflow software readily available to an even broader range of customers worldwide, enhancing their printing capabilities.”
