New Hires and Promotions in the Custom Graphics Industry

Avery Dennison, Citadel Brands, INFiLED, JDS Industries, and Vantage Apparel announce personnel changes

Avery Dennison announces the promotion of Abby Monnot to the position of general manager, Graphics Solutions North America. She replaces Mariana Rodriguez, who was named vice president and general manager, Performance Tapes EMEA.

Monnot will have P&L responsibility for the Graphics NA business and will be focused on driving top and bottom-line growth. She will also lead the graphics business strategies.

Citadel Brands appoints John Martin as its newest sales account executive. Martin brings a wealth of experience with a combined 40 years in the apparel industry.

In the role, Martin will be responsible for driving sales, developing key relationships with clients, and expanding the company’s customer base.

“We are excited to welcome John to our team,” remarks Mike Hoffman, CEO of Citadel Brands. “His extensive industry knowledge and proven track record complements our existing team of expert sales professionals and will be instrumental in furthering our sales efforts and achieving our business goals.”

INFiLED grows its North American team with the addition of Rick Bortles, Adam Coleman, and Kathy Skinski.

The company hires Bortles as senior VP of strategy for North America. With over 10 years of experience under his belt in the dvLED field as well as countless high-profile installations globally, Bortles joins the INFiLED North America team to grow channel sales.

Coleman joins the company as director of technical services. As a 25-year AV pro with extensive experience in manufacturing, distribution, system integration, and end-user channels, Coleman was brought aboard to support INFiLED’s customers’ technical needs.

Skinski has been appointed as vice president of sales for INFiLED North America. Skinski has over 25 years of experience in the technology and media industries with roles at ABC, WarnerMedia, and Time Warner Cable. Prior to joining INFiLED, she was recruited to lead the Broadcast, Media, and Virtual Production unit at Planar Systems.

JDS Industries adds Don Romero as its newest sales representative, servicing customers in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

Romero began his career with JDS in 2011 in the company’s Los Angeles warehouse, where he was promoted to a leadership role. In 2021, he moved into a position that gave him the opportunity to travel to and assist many of the other 14 JDS warehouse locations around the country with various projects.

According to the company, Romero “has a wealth of JDS product knowledge and is excited to assist customers in growing their business.”

Vantage Apparel boosts its sale team with Ryan Finnegan and Stephanie Thompson.

Finnegan comes to Vantage Apparel with over a decade of experience in custom apparel sales on both the distributor and supplier sides of the business. He will be responsible for sales in the mid-Atlantic, serving the Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Pennsylvania markets.

Thompson brings over nine years of promotional apparel experience from a major retail golf brand, where she honed her expertise in marketing strategy and graphic design to distinguish herself as a standout industry professional. She joins the central sales team with responsibility for clients based in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska.
