SAi Launches Training Business for Sign and Print Industry

Adendo offers personalized training on a crowd-sourcing platform

Adendo SAi

Software provider SAi launches a new business called Adendo. The company aims to change how training and technical support are delivered in the sign and print industry. Through crowd-sourcing, video conferencing, and eCommerce technologies, Adendo.com matches experts in the sign and print industry with professionals who need training, advice, or in-depth technical support.

Sign and print industry professionals with expertise in applications, software, or hardware can sign up to be Adendo advisors. People in need of training or support can find and hire an advisor on the Adendo.com website.

Advisors set their own fees on a per-minute basis, as sessions are timed. The Adendo.com platform manages scheduling, video conferencing, and billing. Advisor reviews and webinars are also available to clients.

The site offers basic training for newbies or advanced training for printing pros looking to expand their skills. Adendo.com has training on color management, woodwork, metalwork, equipment workflow management, old and new equipment, software, among other applications and subjects.

Adendo.com founder and managing director Mark Stevens explains, “Today’s equipment and software systems are complex and multifaceted, making it more important than ever to be able to get training and advice, not just sometime but exactly when a question or problem arises.”

In addition to one-on-one training, Adendo offers prescheduled online training classes, called vClass, conducted by industry leaders on various topics. Adendo’s vClasses take place over Zoom and have limited capacity.

Rick Scrimger, industry veteran, Adendo.com consultant, and former president of Roland DGA, adds, “The Adendo marketplace is going to change the way companies in our industry provide training and support. By partnering with Adendo.com, OEMs and resellers can expand their training and support services without incurring additional significant costs.”

Adendo.com is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAi, a software and training solutions provider for the signmaking, digital printing, textile, and CNC machining industries.
