Vic Bay Apparel Grows Its On-Demand Fulfillment, Dropship Operation
Vic Bay Apparel uses its new direct-to-garment systems to print cotton garments
Johannesburg, South Africa-based apparel decorator Vic Bay Apparel recently expanded its direct-to-garment printing offerings, adding two Kornit systems to its production floor.
Vic Bay Apparel has been a manufacturer, supplier, and wholesaler of basic T-shirts and golf shirts for 25 years, supplying blank apparel to decorators and resellers of promotional clothing. It predominantly serves resellers in the tourism, workwear, printing, embroidery, and advertising markets. With its new equipment additions, Vic Bay Apparel offers photorealistic prints on cotton garments.
In addition to its recent equipment investment, the company also recently launched a new site dedicated to B2B order management. After seeing the effects of COVID-19 on the market, Vic Bay Apparel saw that web-based operations handled the challenges effectively and responded by offering enterprise customers dropship services.
“We are now one of the first truly online print-on-demand dropshippers servicing the print and embroidery community here in South Africa,” notes Mike Shiller, managing director at Vic Bay Apparel.
