American Print Consultants Purchases New Facility

The company expands from an 11,000-square-foot space into 32,000 square feet

American Print Consultants (APC), a distributor of wide-format printers, supplies, and services, announces it has recently purchased a new facility in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

The new 32,000-square-foot facility will feature a dedicated showroom, equipment refurbishment area, and training classroom. The new facility will also feature an expanded warehouse and office areas.

Rob Almstrom, partner, APC, says the new building will allow the company to do what it does best: service, train, and educate customers in wide-format and textile printing.

He adds, “We like our centralized location in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and our ability to quickly service customers in the Northeast and Midwest; when the opportunity came up for this building, we had to jump on it! We were getting cramped in our current location, and this new building perfectly suits our needs. We have grown so much and needed the space, and going from 11,000 sq. ft .to 32,000 sq. ft. will be amazing.”

The new facility also features a covered outdoor space, which APC plans on utilizing for outdoor application testing and training.

“We are in the middle of planning logistics for the move … want as little downtime or disruption as possible. We have some things to get ready for the new building but plan on having a big celebration later this year. After a crazy 2020, we look forward to being able to bring our customers together again and showing off the new facility,” says Brian Hendricks, partner, APC.

Dave Mee, partner, APC, adds that having a dedicated training area for in-house customer training and a large showroom is integral to its plans.

“We are planning on expanding training for color profiling and application training,” Mee explains. “We will also have the ability to show our customers full production processes on many applications, which are especially valuable for our textile customers who can see finishing in action for different textile types.”
