Geneva Capital, a privately-held equipment financing company, makes the Star Tribune’s list of National Standard Top Workplaces based on employee surveys. Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces list recognizes progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 76,000 employees at Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

“It’s pretty amazing to think about all this team has accomplished, not only in the last year but especially in recent months,” adds Geneva Capital President, Andrew Cavers. “I know this award is based on a survey conducted before COVID-19 hit, but this global pandemic has definitely changed the way we’re working each day. Much of our office began working from home, and many employees were asked to shift job duties to adapt to the changes in our environment. Seeing this team handle an unprecedented situation as well as they have has been incredible, and I firmly believe that’s a testament to the amazing team culture we had prior to these shifts. Hats off to this hard-working crew! They absolutely deserve this award!”

In addition to riding itself on a culture of camaraderie and fun, Geneva Capital remains philanthropic, donating time and money to various local causes and individuals in need.

Star Tribune publisher Michael J. Klingensmith says, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

A complete list of National Standard Top Workplaces can be found here and will be published in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, June 28.
