Large-Format Printer Manufacturer swissQprint Expands to UK
The Swiss manufacturer of large-format printers, swissQprint, establishes a new subsidiary in the U.K. swissQprint UK is based in Bracknell, Berkshire, and provides sales, servicing, and application support.
The new premises include a brand-new demonstration center featuring the latest from swissQprint, along with sales and marketing offices and a warehouse for consumables and spare parts.
The new U.K. subsidiary has assembled a team, headed up by managing director Erskine Stewart. Ian Maxfield will handle sales in the North, and Steven Pridham will look after business in the South. Service manager Simon Averell provides strong support to the installation base alongside service technician Keith Apps. Jenny Williams is the operations coordinator. Annamaria Horvath, the application engineer, is responsible for the demonstration center, application support, and sampling service.
Stewart says, “swissQprint UK will provide direct, comprehensive, and fast service to the U.K. market while development and production remain in Switzerland.”
He adds, “Our mission is to continue to provide our customers with ongoing expert service for them to get the best out of their investment, while at the same time growing our market share in the commercial printing arena. We will also be increasing our focus on the packaging, specialist print, and industrial sectors where I believe we can also be extremely successful.”
