The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) hosts a two-day workshop Aug. 26–27 on color management. The event takes place at the association’s technical center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
The AATCC says the workshop is designed for “merchandisers, retailers, manufacturers, product developers, color approval managers, specifiers, and designers.”
Throughout the two-day class, hosts delve into topics such as basic color principles, how light affects color, and what to consider when developing a color palette. The course also discusses how choices in color palette affect the cost, fashion, durability, and dyeing reproducibility.
Spots are limited, and the AATCC recommends early registration.
