Giving Back: Manitex Partners with Dealers for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Manitex Boom Trucks, SkyCrane Aerial Platforms and Sign Cranes are all under the Manitex International umbrella.
Bridgeview, Illinois-based Manitex International, makers of cranes, lift trucks and other specialized industrial equipment, recently unveiled a Manitex 22101S boom truck with custom graphics in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Manitex, along with several dealers, customized the boom truck for the 2019 TCI (tree care industry) Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina. The crane was displayed throughout the event and was scheduled to go into serviceÂ-still wearing its colors-after the show. Manitex says it would donate the excess contributions from its dealers and customers to the local Charlotte chapter of the Susan G. Komen foundation for furthering breast cancer research.
“Continuing to build awareness and commitment to identifying the risks and symptoms, developing more effective treatments, and ultimately cures of this killing disease, our dealers and partners relish the opportunity to work together and join the fight to find a cure,” says Steve Kiefer, Manitex’s president and CEO.
