GSG Inc. announces the acquisition of The PAS Store, a commercial embroidery and heat applied vinyl consumable business, from Brother International Corporation’s industrial products division. According to GSG, the purchase better serves the needs of commercial embroidery customers across the United States.

As Brother grows within the industrial direct-to-garment equipment sector, the company made a strategic decision to shift its focus away from commercial embroidery and heat applied vinyl consumables.

“When we made the decision, we wanted to find a distributor that would provide a high level of service to our customers. With over 70 years of experience in the apparel decorating industry, we are confident that GSG is the distributor best qualified for this acquisition,” explains Mark Bagley, director of marketing for Brother.

GSG is a national distributor with nine locations, selling equipment and consumables to the graphics and apparel decorating industry. The company’s product offering includes electrical and commercial sign, digital graphics, and apparel decorating in addition to embroidery and heat transfer.

“Acquiring Brother’s PAS Store furthers our commitment to the embroidery market. Combining the brands and products Brother was selling with GSG’s lineup will give customers more options. With GSG’s service excellence, this acquisition will be a win for all embroidery customers,” adds Mark Granberry, president of GSG.

“We want to provide a seamless transition for existing PAS Store customers,” says Brandon Smith, vice president of strategic sourcing.
