Brother International Corporation Donates to Helping Hand Home for Children

Brother International Corporation supports the Helping Hand Home for Children with a $2,500 donation.

AUSTIN, Texas-Brother supports the Helping Hand Home for Children with a $2,500 donation. The foundation provides a haven for children healing from physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect or abandonment.

“Participation and support of charities like this are what Brother is all about,” says Everett Hartman, senior key account manager at Brother International Corporation. “We try to be at the side of the community and our partners in a meaningful way.”

The donation marks the second consecutive year Brother has supported the foundation. The company says it discovered the foundation through an Austin-area Office Depot. Associates at the store were interested in partnering with an organization to assist with toy drive efforts for Helping Hand.

“I saw this as a great way for us to work with Office Depot to support an important cause,” adds Hartman. “It is a great feeling to be able to put smiles on the faces of these children. This is something that we definitely plan to continue to partner with them on in years to come.”

Associates from both companies coordinated a delivery of presents and the donation check on Dec. 5 to the foundation’s headquarters.
