Katazoom Announces Expansion and Groundbreaking

The new facility in Greer, South Carolina will give the company an additional 6,400 square feet of space

Katazoom announces the expansion of its business with a groundbreaking in Greer, South Carolina. The groundbreaking for the new building at 1419 S. Buncombe Road in Greer took place on Thursday, Nov. 4.

The marketing and branding company has been in business in Greer since 2010 and specializes in vehicle wraps, architectural wraps, and other forms of visual communication.

Tom Hyll, the owner of Katazoom, tells GRAPHICS PRO the reasoning behind the expansion saying, “Our main driving factor is the additional space. We outgrew our current space almost two years ago. We are currently in 1,600 square feet and our new facility will have 8,000 square feet.”

Hyll continues, “We are in the process now of adding an additional graphic designer to our team. We are also looking at adding some additional finishing equipment as well as an additional printer. Our current print room is 12′ X 12′. Our new print room will be 24′ X 40′ so we will have a significantly larger area to work in.”

City of Greer Mayor Rick Danner comments, “We appreciate small businesses like Katazoom locating and growing their business in Greer. The expansion of Katazoom will further add to the growth of businesses in the City of Greer. We congratulate Katazoom on their continuing success and expansion.”
