San Antonio-based XPEL, makers of window and paint protection film and installation accessories, among other related products, announces that it has received an award for its success as a small or medium enterprise (SME) exporter in the United States.
Presented by nonprofit business education group NASBITE International and the economic development organization, Greater Spokane Inc., XPEL was presented the award as part of World Trade Day and the National Small Business Exporter Summit held recently in Spokane, Washington.
According to the presenting organizations, XPEL was among an elite group of 30 exporters from across the nation that received awards for demonstrated excellence in export sales during the second annual event for executives, consultants and export managers. On hand to accept the award for the Texas-based manufacturer and distributor of self-adhesive urethane film was XPEL’s international account manager, Luke Rood.
“XPEL is truly honored to receive this award that recognizes our excellence in export business practices,” says Rood. “The award is confirmation that we not only provide the industry’s leading automotive protection film but also conduct business in a way that puts us among the leading small-to-medium-sized exporters in the nation.”
In addition to the awards program, the World Trade Day and National Small Business Exporter’s Summit brought together some of the top small business exporters in the United States. Participating speakers represented companies in 18 states and Puerto Rico, and included Small Business Administration Exporters of the Year and Presidential “E” Award winners.
“We continue to see consistent growth and opportunities internationally,” says Rood. “This is in large part due to our incredible group of international partners who have helped the XPEL brand become the top choice for consumers wanting to protect their beloved cars.”
