Denver-based PrintReleaf, a software company that connects commercial printers with global reforestation projects, announces its newest partnership with global powerhouse Xerox.

PrintReleaf has developed a standard, methodology, and technology platform-PRX-that makes it easy for print service provider customers to certifiably track their paper consumption and to offset that consumption by funding global reforestation efforts.

Xerox customers around the world will be able to sign up for PrintReleaf as an add-on to their managed print services contract. Through an online portal, Xerox will help customers select the managed forestry projects into which their trees will be planted, in addition to tracking and reporting on their direct reforestation impact.

“From our Green World Alliance program to the Xerox Print Awareness Tool, we have long been known for our dedication to sustainability,” says Wendi Latko, vice president of environment, health, safety and sustainability for Xerox. “With PrintReleaf, now we’re able to take that commitment one step further by empowering our MPS customers with a certification system that will accelerate and promote their efforts as stewards of the environment.”
