WRAPS 2016 Hits the Streets, Coinciding with Website Launch

The new issue of WRAPS magazine-the annual publication devoted solely to the world of wraps-has just been released.

The magazine’s release coincides with the launch of a corresponding WRAPS website, www.wraps-mag.com. Designed to become the world’s leading information resource for wraps professionals, the site features news, features, tips, educational videos, product listings and more, all dedicated to the world of wrapping.

The website and WRAPS magazine are both produced by Broomfield, Colorado-based National Business Media, that also produces Sign & Digital Graphics magazine, which, in addition to the sign and commercial graphics industry at large, covers the wraps industry every month.

“If your business offers adhesive film products in any shape or form, this magazine is for you,” writes managing editor Matt Dixon in his letter of introduction.

The 144-page magazine is packed with information and is meant to serve as a reference guide all year long. Sections include Business & Sales, Design, Production & Installation, Wrap Techniques, Tools & Equipment and Resources.

Executive editor Ken Mergentime used his extensive connections to survey hundreds of wraps shops and other wraps professionals to present a first-ever comprehensive view of the wraps industry. His “snapshot-in-time” report, 2016 State of the Wraps Industry, leads off the issue. The magazine-in addition to many how-to installation and wrap technique articles, industry trend and educational stories-features important stories from industry leaders discussing the growing necessity of installer certification, and a story pointing to a need for establishing industry wide wrap application standards. 

This issue of WRAPS magazine also offers a comprehensive Graphic Film Resource Guide that you’ll want to keep handy for the next year. And there’s also a lengthy list of available wraps training and certification programs, and a new state-by-state listing of active wraps installers.

Finally, there’s a section devoted to previewing WRAPSCON, our second annual convention-within-a-convention, being held June 2-4 in conjunction with THE NBM B.I.G. SHOW in Indianapolis. WRAPSCON is a powerful event and a great place to meet and learn from some of the top wraps professionals in the world.
